Pride Mobility LC-455 3-Position Lift Chair Review
When it comes to buying a lift chair, most people probably have a specific set of features that they would like to see in the chair. It can often be disappointing when the chair you are looking at does not provide all of those features for you and some even get discouraged about the idea of purchasing a lift chair altogether. I believe that the Pride Mobility avoids this issue by providing select and basic features that can appeal to a wide range of people. To show you what I mean, I am going to go over some of its main features so that you can see for yourself.
Three Recline Positions
One of the main appeals of this lift chair is the three recline positions it offers. Some lift chairs don’t provide this kind of choice, so you’re left with a chair that you can’t recline for the type of position you want to be sitting in. This can be very frustrating!
The Pride Mobility avoids this kind of issue by providing three separate recline positions so that you have the choice of positioning the chair for the kind of situation you find yourself in.
The frame for this lift chair is easily one of the main selling points. Many lift chairs don’t design or construct their frames for maximum stability and sturdiness, which can lead to a chair that, frankly, feels like it’s about to fall apart.
This is not a concern with the Pride Mobility, as you can clearly tell the designers planned the frame so that the chair can feel steady, comfortable, and balanced. This gives it a definite edge over many of the other competing lift chairs on the market.
The footrest extension is a nice additional feature for this lift chair. Some lift chairs make the big mistake of not adding a properly made footrest extension, which can be uncomfortable and difficult for those using the chair. Fortunately, the Pride Mobility decided to add a quality footrest extension feature so that you don’t have to be concerned about this issue.
If you are trying to relax and get comfortable, the extension can be a very useful feature to get situated in the relaxing position you’d like to be in!
Finally, a big plus for the Pride Mobility lift chair is the transformer. Specific appealing features of the transformer are ints energy efficiency and self-diagnosis system. The energy efficiency is great, as many chairs can have a habit of ignoring this specific part and result in a frustrating product. With the energy efficiency of the Pride Mobility transformer, you can leave this concern at the door.
The self-diagnostic electronics are also a big draw-in of the lift chair. Often, a lift chair can lack any such diagnostic system, which makes it extraordinarily difficult to know what to do when the chair suddenly stops working as expected. Since the Prod Mobility’s electronics are self-diagnosing, you don’t have to worry about trying to figure out the cause of sudden stoppages or issues.
