With 30 Tons of pressure, and the option to turn the unit 180 degrees, this will allow you to split your logs to any manageable size. We use a series of quick disconnect couplers on the hoses to make the change over (adding the valve in the line of the hydraulic flow) so you can switch back and forth within minutes. To "flip" this unit you just have to undo the 4 bolts at the universal mounting plate and spin the beam 180 degrees and retighten the 4 bolts and your ready to split again.
Operating pressure of this splitter is only 2500 PSI so you can run your loader in idle and receive the maximum output of this wood splitter.  If you have a Case 1840 please inform us at the time of order as this has a different mount.
