Asko 24" Dishwasher, 60 Series, XXL Tub, Water Softener, Pocket Handle, Stainless - DBI776IXXLSSOF
Features
Super Cleaning System
Rinse the dishes. Clean the interior, including the filter. Choose the best program. How many steps is that? One – and we call it the Super Cleaning System – or our best invention.
8 Steel - More Steel Less Plastic
No other material lasts as long as steel. And no other dishwashers have as many details made from steel instead of plastic as ASKO dishwashers. In fact, eight of the most important components in our dishwashers are made of high-quality steel rather than plastic: the container, loading racks, spray pipe, spray arms, strainers, outer base, feet, and inner door. By using more steel and less plastic, we make our machines last longer.
Aqua Safe System
Do you hesitate to leave the dishwasher on while you are not at home? Aqua Safe system is an advanced safety system that ensures a leak-safe dishwasher day and night.
Flexiracks
ASKO Flexiracks from sturdy, nylon-coated steel are easily adjustable in different heights depending on which type of load you have.
XXL Dishwashers
Our XXL dishwashers have a loading height of 23". Combined with the smart four-level rack system, the load is 40% more, with countless possibilities to make it all fit in.
Crystal Glass
Wash fragile items made of crystal/glass, such as crystal glass from Orrefors, using the gentle dishwashing program Crystal glass.
LightLock
Light plastic cans and bowls are easily flipped over and filled with water. The LightLock smart fixation helps them retain their position throughout the program.
Self Cleaning
ASKO’s dishwashers have a self-cleaning program to ensure that all vital parts are thoroughly cleaned. Use a recommended cleaning agent and the program on a regular basis for best results.
Vase/Bottle Holder
Our special holder for tall, narrow objects like baby bottles, vases, and bottles is combined with a special power zone that ensures a perfect cleaning result.
Time Program
When you need clean plates in a hurry, just tell the machine how dirty the dishes are and how much time you have. The program then adjusts washing and rinsing to match your needs.
ECO Wash
Use this program when you want to save water and energy. It is suitable for normally soiled loads, such as plates, serving dishes, cups, and glasses.
Status Light
ASKO’s new generation dishwashers have a Status Light – a small light placed in the bottom right corner to indicate the actual status of the program.
Brushless Motor
A brushless motor is not only quieter and more reliable, but it also consumes less energy. You want your dishwasher to work forever. So do we.
LED Interior Light
The combination of outer and inner LED lights is designed for the best intensity and durability. It provides a good overview of the door area as well as the inside of the dishwasher.
Green Mode
The Green mode saves water and energy by lowering the temperature and extending the washing cycle. Still, the result is just as perfect as the Normal program. Let’s go greener!
Speed Mode
When you need to get things cleaned in a hurry, the Speed mode is useful. It saves up to 50% of the normal time by using more water and increased heating.
Night Mode
Night mode reduces the noise by 2 dB thanks to lower pressure in the spray arm, making it perfect at night or in a house with an open-plan living area.
Auto Wash
Night mode reduces the noise by 2 dB thanks to lower pressure in the spray arm, perfect for night use or in open-plan living areas.
Quick Pro Wash
Sometimes you need to use the same kitchenware with short intervals. The Quick Pro Wash program only takes half an hour – perfect for dinner parties or when baking.
Plastic Wash
The Plastic program washes and dries your plastic kitchenware perfectly. If there’s room left, you can wash ordinary porcelain and glass simultaneously.
Lower Half Wash
The Lower Half Wash program sprays only the bottom half of the machine, which means less water and energy is used. It’s a more environmentally friendly way to clean your plates and cutlery.
Upper Half Wash
The Upper Basket program sprays only the top part of the machine and uses less water and energy than a normal program, saving both your time and the environment.
Aqua Level Sensor
The Aqua Level Sensor ensures an optimized water level, even if a bowl turns over and is filled with water. It also prevents the machine from starting if the water is turned off.
Aqua Detect Sensor
The Aqua Detect monitors the inlet valves and the water level while the machine operates. For safety reasons, the drain pump’s capacity is five times that of the inlet valve.
Power Zone Cutlery
A special nozzle spray zone for the cutlery basket ensures your cutlery is dazzling clean. There is a similar nozzle for the knife basket.
Kid Safe
To stop small fingers from starting the dishwasher, the Kid Safe feature makes the control panel easy to lock. This also prevents accidental alterations to any settings.
Anti Siphon
For our fully integrated dishwashers, the Anti-siphon solution safely keeps the water inside the machine, which is especially important if the dishwasher is placed above floor level.
Extra Wide Knife Stand
Our smart knife holders are found in the middle, upper, and top baskets. They are extra deep so that the blades remain steady. Cutting edge, not fingers.
10 Spray
ASKO’s spray system consists of up to 10 effective spray zones to ensure a thoroughly clean load. In the lower rack, there are three power zones to handle the dirtiest parts.
3 Level Rack
ASKO’s three-level rack system allows you to optimize the load. You can remove, adjust, fold, and move the racks, pin rows, and cutlery rack to meet your every need.
Folding Tines
The foldable tines in the lower tray make it easy to load different sizes of pots and pans. Flexibility at its best.
Foldable Glass Support
Sometimes you need the space of the upper rack for items other than glasses. Fortunately, the tines are foldable here as well.
Telescopic Rails
ASKO uses telescopic guide rails with ball bearings to ensure the racks glide smoothly and quietly. For easy loading and unloading, you can also remove the whole rack.
Removable Middle Rack
The Twin Tubes spray zone makes the middle rack perfect for lightly soiled glasses. It is easy to remove if you need more space. Spray pressure is retained even if the basket is removed.
2 Spray Arms
The two spray-arm technique reaches every corner, and with up to 10 highly effective spray zones, no dirt can escape. Not even your lasagna baking dish.
TouchProof
The ultra-thin, transparent TouchProof coating protects your dishwasher from stains and grease. It is easy to clean, scratch resistant, and will keep your dishwasher looking brand new year after year.
17 Piece Loading Capacity
There is room for 17 place settings, and you can fit larger pots and plates in the upper rack. Our XXL dishwashers have a four-level rack system including a knife rack, upper rack, middle rack, and lower rack.
China Guard
Our china guard ensures secure rotation of the upper spray arm.
15-3/4" Plates in Lower Rack
Our XXL dishwashers have room for a 40 cm plate in the lower rack when the middle rack is removed and the upper rack is in the uppermost position.
Pop Out Door
When a program is completed, the Door Pop-Out function automatically opens the dishwasher door to release the steam inside.
Knife Holders
Knives are sensitive, and so are fingers. We have done everything possible to protect both. Our knife holder is extra deep so that the blades remain steady throughout the wash cycle. There are knife holders on three levels: in the middle basket, upper basket, and top basket. We guarantee a clean cut.
Multi Position Glass Rack
The Multi Position Glass Rack is a practical rack that can be mounted in three different positions, depending on your needs.
Auto Dose - Demands Less of You
Through years of research, we have identified the exact amount of detergent needed to deliver consistently perfect cleaning results. That’s our job. Of course, we don’t expect you to spend time thinking about this. That’s why we designed Auto Dose. The auto dosing compartment in our dishwashers stores up to 30 days’ worth of detergent. This means you only need to fill it once a month. Just load your dishes, choose your program, and you’re ready to go. Hassle-free, as it should be.
Focus Points - A Hint of Nature
Opening the door of our new dishwasher can reveal a few things. The high-grade steel might catch your attention at first. Then, it may be one of the machine’s many clever features, highlighted with a color that mimics the ways in which nature brings focus to things. Closing the door puts the machine back in its place – where it doesn’t compete for space or attention – instead, it blends into the room.
Adjustable Power Zones
To enhance an already powerful cleaning system, we have created two adjustable “power zones” with two different spray patterns. The power zones either produce a concentrated high-pressure hard jet for extra dishwashing power on tall, narrow objects like bottles and vases or a wider spray for larger dishes, pots, and pans. There’s also a “bridging function” where both power zones are set to wide spray mode for very large dishes or utensils.

Maintenance Tips
The Asko DBI776IXXLSSOF is a high-performance dishwasher featuring an XXL tub, built-in water softener, and sleek stainless-steel finish. To maintain its superior cleaning power, efficiency, and longevity, follow these key maintenance tips:
1. Regularly Clean the Filters
-
After Every Cycle: Clean the filter after each cycle to remove food debris, grease, and soap residue. A clogged filter can reduce performance and efficiency.
-
Deep Cleaning: Periodically, remove and rinse the filter under warm water, using a soft brush to scrub stubborn particles. Make sure the filter is properly installed after cleaning to avoid leaks.
2. Descale the Dishwasher
-
Frequency: In areas with hard water, descaling is essential. Use a dishwasher-safe descaling agent every 1–2 months to remove mineral buildup from the internal components and prevent damage to the heating element.
-
Vinegar Cycle: Run an empty cycle with a cup of white vinegar occasionally to break down any mineral deposits in the dishwasher.
3. Maintain the Water Softener
-
Refill Salt Regularly: Ensure the water softener is always topped up with dishwasher-specific salt. This helps soften the water, preventing calcium and lime buildup inside the dishwasher and improving cleaning results.
-
Check Salt Levels: The salt container should be checked regularly and refilled when necessary, as a lack of salt can reduce the dishwasher’s ability to handle hard water.
4. Clean the Spray Arms
-
Inspect for Blockages: Detach the spray arms every couple of months and inspect them for any blockages caused by food particles, debris, or mineral deposits.
-
Rinse and Clear: Rinse the spray arms under warm water to remove any debris. If necessary, use a small brush to clear out any stubborn clogs in the spray nozzles.
5. Maintain the Door Seal and Gasket
-
Clean the Gasket: Regularly wipe the door gasket with a damp cloth to remove grime, soap scum, and prevent mold or mildew buildup.
-
Inspect for Damage: Periodically check the door seal for cracks or tears. A damaged seal can lead to water leakage, so replace it if needed.
6. Run Cleaning Cycles
-
Monthly Maintenance Cycle: Run a maintenance cycle using a dishwasher cleaner or white vinegar once a month to clean the interior and eliminate any odors. Ensure the cycle is done with the hottest water setting for the best results.
-
Empty Cycle: Running an empty cycle helps maintain cleanliness inside the tub and clear out any leftover detergent residue or grime.
7. Check the Drainage System
-
Inspect for Blockages: Regularly check the drain filter and hose for any blockages or food debris. Blockages can lead to improper drainage, leaving water inside the dishwasher.
-
Ensure Proper Drainage: Verify that the drain hose is properly installed, with no kinks or obstructions. A proper drain connection ensures water flows smoothly during the wash cycle.
8. Properly Load Dishes
-
Avoid Overloading: Avoid overloading the dishwasher to ensure that spray arms can rotate freely, and water can reach all dishes effectively. Place large items on the bottom rack and smaller items on the top rack.
-
Dish Placement: Arrange dishes so that they do not obstruct the spray arms. Overcrowding can prevent effective cleaning.
9. Use High-Quality Detergent and Rinse Aid
-
Detergent: Use high-quality, phosphate-free dishwasher detergent to achieve optimal cleaning results. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's recommendations for the appropriate amount of detergent.
-
Rinse Aid: Fill the rinse aid dispenser to help prevent water spots on dishes and improve drying efficiency, especially if you have hard water.
10. Inspect the Water Inlet and Hoses
-
Check for Leaks: Periodically inspect the water inlet valve and hoses for leaks, cracks, or signs of wear. Tighten any loose connections and replace damaged hoses to avoid water leaks.
-
Clear the Inlet: Ensure that the water inlet is free from any blockages. Clogged inlets can prevent proper water flow, affecting the dishwasher's performance.
11. Maintain the Stainless Steel Exterior
-
Clean Regularly: Wipe the stainless-steel surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent to remove dust, fingerprints, and stains.
-
Use Stainless Steel Cleaner: For a streak-free shine, use a stainless-steel cleaner designed for kitchen appliances to maintain the finish and prevent corrosion.
12. Monitor for Error Codes or Malfunctions
-
Check for Error Codes: If your dishwasher displays an error code, consult the user manual for troubleshooting steps. Address issues promptly to avoid more significant malfunctions.
-
Listen for Unusual Noises: If you hear strange noises, such as grinding or rattling, check for any obstructions in the pump or spray arms. If necessary, call for professional service to resolve the issue.
