The MODUL 300 is CONTEC’s newest addition to the MODUL line-up. It continues the tradition of offering the most versatile and effective surface preparation system within its class. The blast width of the basic MODUL 300 can be doubled by the addition of a MODUL 300 EU (Extension Unit) thereby tremendously increasing the production capabilities of the standard unit, while still only requiring one operator.
The Modul 300 was uniquely designed with increased production capabilities housed in a mid-sized blaster, while utilizing our Tornado dust collector
Maximum Working Width: 11.8 in (300 mm)
Motor: 12.8 kW (17 hp) 480 V, 60Hz, 3 PHASE, 19.1 Amps
Dimensions (H x L x W): 42 X 72 X 20 in
Weight: 847 lbs

Regular Cleaning: Clean the shotblaster after each use to remove debris and material buildup from the blast wheel and housing. This prevents clogging and ensures consistent blasting performance.
Inspect and Replace Blades: Check the blast wheel blades for wear or damage. Replace any worn or broken blades to maintain efficient performance and avoid uneven blasting.
Check the Motor: Inspect the 17HP motor for signs of overheating, vibrations, or unusual sounds. Ensure the motor is properly ventilated and the electrical connections are secure.
Dust Collector Maintenance: Empty the dust collector frequently to prevent clogs. Clean or replace filters as needed to ensure proper airflow and dust extraction during operation.
Lubrication: Lubricate all moving parts, including bearings and the blast wheel, to minimize friction and extend the lifespan of the machine. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended lubrication schedule.
Drive Belt and Components: Inspect the belts and drive components for wear and tension. Replace any damaged belts and adjust the tension if necessary to avoid strain on the motor.
Electrical System Inspection: Regularly check all electrical connections for signs of wear or corrosion. Verify that the machine is properly wired to the correct 480V, 3-phase power source.
Check for Leaks: Inspect all hoses and connections for leaks or damage. Seal any leaks immediately to ensure optimal performance and dust containment.
Test Safety Features: Regularly test the safety features, including emergency stop switches, to ensure proper function. Address any issues promptly to maintain safe operation.
Proper Storage: When not in use, store the shotblaster in a dry, clean area to prevent exposure to moisture, dust, or extreme temperatures, which can cause rust or damage to components
