Weighing a whopping 235 pounds you'll notice the Stealth DS4020FL12 is heavier than its nearest competitors. That's because there's a significant amount of steel in this safe with its 12 Gauge Steel Body, 1/2" Thick Steel Door and 7 Gauge Steel Hopper. This adds considerable strength against a forced entry attempt such as a pry attack.
Just inside the door and below the drop is an inner steel locker with a tubular cam key lock that provides an additional layer of security. This allows employees to have access to the inside of the safe to pull out a cash drawer but only allows the manager or owner access to the deposits.
Unique to the Stealth DS4020FL12 Drop safe is a concave deposit door and because it caves in behind the door it makes a fishing attack near impossible where a thief will take a fishing line with a hook and attempt to pull out the cash through the top door. At the back of the drop door, you'll find jagged teeth, anti-fish baffles that will prevent any paperwork or cash from being removed.
On the front of the 1/2" solid steel door lies the UL Approved NL UR-2020 High Security Electronic Lock and brushed nickel handle. This lock is the most reliable lock in the safe industry, assembled and tested in the USA. The lock is also protected by a 1/4" Thick Rockwell hard plate and an internal re-locker that will keep the bolts locked if a thief were to attempt a punch or drill attack.
Just inside the door of the Stealth DS4020FL12, you'll see an auto-detent system that locks three 1" solid steel bolts automatically for you when the door closes. You'll never have to worry about making sure it is fully locked, the safe does it for you. On the other side of the door is a full length steel dead bar that hooks behind the cast iron door hinges ensuring you can't access the safe even if you cut off the hinges.
On the bottom of the Stealth DS4020FL12 are 4 bolt down holes that will allow you to secure the safe and prevent a burglar from just picking it up and opening it on their own time. Mounting hardware is included with every safe. Four 3/8” D x 4” L concrete wedge anchors are included. Two adjustable or removable shelves and 8 shelf clips are included for internal organization.

STEP 1: Installing a Battery
Use a brand new Duracell Coppertop 9-Volt Battery expiring at least 5 years in the future.
WHY THIS BATTERYBecause this battery has the highest amperage output that is needed to operate the safe lock and open the door of the safe.
The battery compartment is located on the bottom side of the keypad
Simply slide open the compartment door and pull out the battery connector
Hook up a Duracell Coppertop 9-Volt battery to the battery connector with the + and - lined up
Push the connected battery back up into the compartment & slide the door shut
STEP 2: Changing the Default Code to your own Personal 6-Digit Code
NOTE:The following instructions are for changing the combination for the first time from the set default combination (1-2-3-4-5-6).Before you start this process make sure you know the 6-digit code you will set your safe to so the lock doesn't time out while you are setting your code.

Open the door and extend the bolts
Press and HOLD [0] on keypad until double beep. (LED light will remain on during next steps)

TROUBLESHOOTING
LOW BATTERY: A series of beeps indicate that the battery is weak and must be replaced.
LOCKOUT MODE: If the wrong code is entered 4 times in a row, the lock will go into lockout mode - where it will constantly beep and flash for 5 minutes. Simply wait 5 minutes until the beeping/flashing stop and try again.NOTE: Removing the battery will only pause this 5 minute timer. The battery must be connect the whole 5 minutes.
