In addition to the burglary rating, the Stealth UL28 Gun Safe comes with a 1 hour fire rating at 1200°. This ensures your valuables stay safe and cool inside with the interior temperature never passing 350° F. Stealth also adds an intumescent door seal that expands to multiple times its size during a fire to prevent smoke from entering the safe keeping your contents safe and secure inside.
The Stealth UL28 Gun Safe is built with thick 12 gauge steel on the door and body. The door is secured in all 4 directions with 12 total, 1 ¼" thick solid steel locking bolts. Adding in the razor thin door gaps, this safe is reliably secure and offers extreme pry-resistance.
The Stealth UL28 RSC Gun Safe comes standard with the UL Listed NL UR-2020 High Security Electronic Lock. This lock is one of the most reliable locks in the safe industry and is assembled and tested in the USA. This safe has a mechanical dial lock option available. With the lock comes a hard plate and internal re-locker that will keep the bolts locked if a thief were to attempt a punch or drill attack.
Unique to Stealth Gun Safes is the Customizable Molle Door Panel Organizer that helps free up additional space in the safe. This system is far better than sewn-in pockets as the molle system allows for full customization. Want your pistol holsters at the bottom of the organizer? No problem. Want them lined up on the right side? No problem. Want to get rid of all the included accessories and use your own? Again, no problem! You can add and remove accessories as you need with the convenient molle strap & snap system. The included accessories on the UL28 model are 6 XL Pistol Holsters (that come with a spandex magazine attachment), 1 triple magazine pouch and 3 medium zippered storage pockets.
The Stealth UL28 Gun Safe comes with gray, carpet-lining interior that will help protect your valuables from being scratched or damaged while stored inside. The UL28 model comes with a leather-lined dual gun rack that can store up to 28 long guns, plus Stealth has included adjustable (or removable) storage shelves to provide additional space for neatly storing your valuables inside. Coming pre-installed on the inside of the UL28 is an electrical power outlet kit that is equipped with 3 outlet plug-ins and 2 USB slots so that you can charge your electronics, plug in a light kit or dehumidifier, etc. inside the safe.
The UL RSC Gun Safe Series all come in Stealth's extremely unique and durable Armored Black Textured Paint. are styled with a black 5-spoke handle. The large external block hinges on the UL28 Gun Safe, allow the door to open a full 180Âş, so you have complete access to the contents of your safe. Four bolt down holes are pre-drilled and come with mounting hardware, along with cap covers to nicely hide the holes inside the safe.Â

STEP 1: Installing a Battery
Use a brand new Duracell Coppertop 9-Volt Battery expiring at least 5 years in the future.
WHY THIS BATTERYBecause this battery has the highest amperage output that is needed to operate the safe lock and open the door of the safe.
The battery compartment is located on the bottom side of the keypad
Simply slide open the compartment door and pull out the battery connector
Hook up a Duracell Coppertop 9-Volt battery to the battery connector with the + and - lined up
Push the connected battery back up into the compartment & slide the door shut
STEP 2: Changing the Default Code to your own Personal 6-Digit Code
NOTE:The following instructions are for changing the combination for the first time from the set default combination (1-2-3-4-5-6).Before you start this process make sure you know the 6-digit code you will set your safe to so the lock doesn't time out while you are setting your code.

Open the door and extend the bolts
Press and HOLD [0] on keypad until double beep. (LED light will remain on during next steps)

TROUBLESHOOTING
LOW BATTERY: A series of beeps indicate that the battery is weak and must be replaced.
LOCKOUT MODE: If the wrong code is entered 4 times in a row, the lock will go into lockout mode - where it will constantly beep and flash for 5 minutes. Simply wait 5 minutes until the beeping/flashing stop and try again.NOTE: Removing the battery will only pause this 5 minute timer. The battery must be connect the whole 5 minutes.
