This version, the NMXi has 5 methods of entry in the Biometric scanner, Wifi Smartphone app, the 4-8 digit electronic entry, Smart Key Fob and the backup override keys. With the Smart App you can actually track the usage if anyone has attempted to enter your safe. The biometric scanner is capable of storing up to 20 unique fingerprints. The new Wifi capability allows you to receive instant alerts anywhere and you can check the safes critical activity.

The NMXi is the largest size handgun safe Vaultek makes and is the ideal nightstand or closet safe. With the auto-open door and several methods of entry, you'll be able to get into your safe when you need it most. It still uses the lithium-ion battery if you deem it able to be portable but that's exactly why they developed multiple sizes, one for the home and one for travel. What makes this safe especially cool is it's ability to be customized. It's fully adjustable and you can add or remove pistol racks, clip storage and the shelf as desired.

In terms of security, NMXi series is beefed up to 12 gauge steel door and 14 gauge steel body and when combined with the two-point anti-impact latches, protected hinges and anti-pry construction, this safe is extremely tough. It also passed the CA DOJ testing standards and is safe to use with children.
